Don't think so. As you know, your C4 has a fiberglass spring and your 72 has coils. They have very different rebound characterisitcs.
Bilstein might be able to revalve them for you.

It's probably not even worth it to make the attempt unless you put C4 suspension on that car. Just get a nice set of Bilstein Sports engineered for your application. They can't be too expensive.
