Tom;
My car is a 72 with an automatic transmission. I plan on changing to 5 speed in the next couple of years.
Can I run the non tranny cooler radiator and install an aftermarket tranny cooler in front?
I already have a dual fan setup on the car which should work.
Also will I need new radiator hoses?
Jim
I would still get the automatic model (A70A assuming sb) and use it now. Air type trans coolers work good too but they can over cool when it's really cold outside and cause shifting problems. A GM enginer once told me they really shouldn't call them coolers but rather "maintainers" because that's what they do. They warm the oil up quickly and keep it the same temperature regardless of outside ambient temperature. On the 700R4 trannys, they recommend both coolers. First you run out to the air type and cool it down, then through the internal radiator cooler, to heat it back up a little.
Hey Tom, I purchased your radiator dual fan setup for my '73 last fall...couldn't be happier...excellent quality. Can you offer a discount on your 771 a/c condenser? Thanks.

Hello Tom,
Just to be sure before I order, '72 BB Auto with A/C is the Copper and Brass Radiator part #BC4 correct.
Also do you ship by USPS to Australia please.
Regards,
Chris

BC4 is the "core" only, and not a complete radiator. That's for rebuilding a factory unit.
The A69A would be the replacement aluminum radiator
We use BAX global for international shipping. Much better than ups.
The radiator box is too big for mail
Tom,
I did not see a listing for 73 big block manual car, is it safe to go with the 72 BB option or is the general 73 to 75 what I should be looking at. I know the radiator mounts on the support are spaced differently from 73 from 72.
The engine is built to a little over 500 hp with about 10:1 compression and a choppy idle. The body is currently off the frame and the engine has not been run yet. I am looking at the radiator and electric fan combination, and any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the clarification, I meant all radiators and fan kits. I can't do the hoses and stuff.
I'm looking for an electric fan to supplement the mechanical fan in my 76. I want something that will fit in the shroud against the radiator so that it still looks original. What do you suggest?

Tom,
I'm going to be doing an LS swap in my '75. I noticed you have kits for an LS swap for many different years, but the latest being '72. Will this '72 swap radiator work with my '75?
