Never even heard of such a thing. Damned impressive, if you ask me! I don't even wanna know how much they cost! Although, the website does say "for about the price of a blower". Hmmmmmm...........

I have read about these somewhere .... a while back. I think they do harley heads that when bolted on were d*mn impressive.

Pretty cool if you ask me; however .... I am so limited with my stock BB hood that I don't see the point. I guess I think that I can have the best heads in the world; but if you are constricted on the way in Stock(ish) intake and run manifolds I think its just a waste of money.

Still way cool!

Recommended for street use on 350 cu. : $5999.-
Horsepower: 475 - 575HP
Use standard intake manifolds, cam, pistons to 10.5:1 comp ratio, Hooker or Stahl 7 bolt pattern exhaust headers
Kits include PR heads completely assembled, valve covers, rockers, head bolts, head gaskets and pushrods.

Anyway it sounds and look impressive.

What really impresses me is running 7300 RPM with a hydraulic roller cam and getting 668 HP out of a Performer RPM manifold and a 750 Holley. Don't care what they say the heads flow sounds like

So why does Chevy stick with a 2 valve push rod design for the new Ls3 430 hp base corvette?
Other myths that aren't necessiarly true:
you need forged pistons---not for the above engine.
you need roller tipped rocker arms---not for the above engine
you need a forged crank---not for the above engine

Those heads are kind of cool looking!

Read the second post: I very plainly said I don't even wanna know how much they cost!!!!!!

Just kidding, but about the new 'vettes still having pushrod engines, I think I remember reading somewhere that it was because an overhead cam engine would be too wide or tall or something like that. Here's another one: Why in God's name did they get rid of the hideaway headlights? They were a Corvette Icon, some people were very upset about it when the c6's first came out! (some of us are STILL upset about it.....grumble, grumble.....) Answer: Chevy wants to sell corvettes in europe, and hideaway headlights are illegal over there. Sometimes things that seem to make no sense at all actually do have good reasons for being so.

Anyway, yeah, those 4 valve heads.......I feel like it's finally the future!!!!! Now where's my flying car.......

Chevy and the aftermarket tried it. As long as your bore is big enough for good size single valves, you get more flow. If there was anything to this, they would have been on the market by all the big-name manufacturers long ago. There's too much trouble with running a pushrod engine with 4 valves, too many things can go wrong when stuff gets just a little bit out of square or adjustment. Now as Ed said, run a pair of overhead cams and all bets are off.
Have you guys seen the rotating valve setup? There are rectangular holes in what amounts to a row of valves that look a lot like a cam. No moving valves, no springs, everything is ceramic sealed. It's a great idea, the next realistic step but the guy that has the patent on it won't let anyone else in on it and doesn't have the funds to get it thru a rigorous R&D. I'll see if I can find a link, it's damned impressive.
