Electric choke for tripower ?
Could I install a electric choke onto my BB tripower instead of the bimetallic one ?
Problem is that I closed up the crossover ducting to keep the carb cool, hence the bimetall isn't heating up anymore.
I tried to install different length rods , but can't find the correct adjustment.
A electric choke could solve this problem .
Which one exactly would I want ?

Nobody with a idea ?
I don't have any experience on carbs, so don't like to order a electric choke wihtout knowing which one.
Just needs to pull a rod, like the bimetallic spring original unit.
Can be time-delayed actuated or by a switch controlled by me from the cockpit, whatever.

I guess I can just buy a Holley or Edelbrock electric choke box and hook it up directly to the ignition power supply.
If I understand their function correctly, they will hold the choke closed for a little while until the electric power has heated up the bimetallic spring and therefore opens up the choke. As long as power is supplied, the bimetall will stay hot and the choke will stay open, correct ?
Any thoughts ?

Edit: May be I can even replace the original bimetallic spring direct by the electrically powered one ? All you would see is 1 ea electric cable.
