My '74 has what I have seen referred to as a logic controller or sequence controller. All belt, seat and door switches terminate there. Problem is none of the wiring diagrams I have found show how it is wired. I want to make it go away but need to know how it works first.

I have not seen that part in my car, what area is that picture from.
In 74 only ( and some early 75's ) you had to fasten the seat belts to start the car, I disconnected that by going behind the seats and unhooking the connection. If you left that connected and the car won't start you can open the hood and press a button on the firewall to override the system. PG.
From what I can see in your picture yellow/black wire & a orange wire. Looking on the print it looks like thats the 3 wire connector.
separate & clean wire going into that thing & give us a better view.
Couldn't wait. Unwrapped the harness and removed all that crap. Really wasn't as bad as I thought. I have an electrical background so not too intimidated. Besides the cost of a new harness is quite a motivator.
Unwrapped.
Unnecessary junk.
Re-taped and ready.
Still would like a wire diagram if anyone runs across one.
