Default Torque Value question

I seem to be missing a page from my 1971 AIM

Does anyone have the page with the front spindle and knuckle and dust sheild?

I am in need of the torque values for the 2 lower bolts and the one large upper bolt.

Thanks
David

Assuming there wouldn't likely be any difference during the model run, and that I'm clear on the bolts to which you are referring (pic?), I haven't been able to find those specs in any of my AIMS or manuals. Perhaps this reference will help if no one has the exact data...

Hi David,
I've never seen values for those dust shield bolts. That spindle, steering arm, etc., came to the line as an assembly and thus the values aren't in the AIM.
70 ft/lbs, for the 2 lower (STEERING ARM) in the GM CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL, front suspension torques, page- specs 2. I can't find anything on the upper.
Regards,
Alan

PS: It sounds like there are less and less parts remaining on those tables!!!!

Alan , just 2 hours ago , I said to myself. I hope Alan is on the forum. He will have the answer.

And I was right.

Thanks so much. I will use your numbers on the lower and best estimate on top.

And yes the pool table is close to being a pool table again

I sure hope to meet you some day.

Thanks
David
