Sidepipes are done!
Finished painting and installing the side pipe covers this morning. What do you think?

They are actually painted bright silver centers satin black ends.

You have the big "WOW" factor now. What type of headers and side pipes did you use. Ok can we put together a sidepipes for Hurst fund, they truly look great and I know that my 72 would feel proud to wear a set. Got to go see what is hiding in the couch to get the fund started. :lol:

The silver is just Hi-temp aluminum spray bomb from Wal-Mart.

The pipe are NOS original 69 pipes from chevrolet. I bought all the stuff to put on a 71 Convertible I had back in 84. (About 4 Vettes ago). I sold the car before I got them put on so they have been lying around the garage every since. I had the original chrome covers at the time but I sold them about ten years ago. (What a fool I am) I am suprised at how quite these pipes are. I was expecting quite a bit louder. Maybe once they get run in from a while.
