Saw the inside of my M21 today. One broken and cracked tooth on the cluster and first gear was trashed. Does $450 to $500 sound about right for new guts, bearings, and seals? Now you see why I didn't want to buy a new flyweel?
They also said they are doing something else, I think they called it sleeving. Not sure if I heard the term right. I wish Mike had time to do it, but I think he's booked for the rest of the year.
Super guy and does nice work. I just bought a rebuilt M-20 from him to replace my M-21. He has a nice shop and stocks a lot of parts incl clutches, spindles, yokes..... ect.
He had a couple of reworked M-21 and M-22's for sale as well.

Good Luck, Ed
Ed,
Looking at his site, he is $300 to inspect and $170 to rebuild plus parts.
Add the gear and the cluster would add another $250. Total would be $720 plus tax.
Thanks for the heads up, might need him in the future.
Buddy
Now that you mention it...he had one wayback when with broken ears on it...maybe that's when it died?
I think the one he has came out of Tony's BB C-3 when Tony bought Nick's TKO. Travis hasn't driven this one much and Tony never hurt it for sure! He just put Doug's old TKO600 in his.

I spoke to him, its the broken ear version. I'm going to pull the trigger on fixing mine.
Hmmn....I thought he had a good one too. Donny just sold his Doug Nash 5 speed to my other buddy Paul. He has a Muncie....want me to see if it's for sale?
