1980 help
I need help on an exhaust system, my 350 is .030 over with roller rockers and mostly stock from there. my exhaust manifolds are cracked and unuseable. i tried to order the magnaflow system from Corvette central and apparently they dont carry it anymore. I need a sytem that will sound good but i still want to be able to talk when im driving. I need to order somthing as soon as possible so please help

what sort of manifold are you looking for?
and what kind of power is your engine putting out at what RPMs?
what is your budget?
your best bet would be to bug the vendors who do SBC/Corvette manifolds and stuff and see what they have for you oh on the account of an previous thread i would have your head casting number handy just in case they need it

I now have a zz 383 in my 1980. But when the 350 was in it,i ran stock manifolds, a high flow cat and Walker Dynomax mufflers. It sounded great, not too loud inside and a good low rumble outside. If you dont have to worry about emissions in your state, go with true duals with no cat. Mufflers are a personal preference.

Headers
Just be carefull what you get due to space constraints and the starter. The headers I recently put on my 80 would not allow the stock starter to fit so I went with a mini starter. I likes the way it sounds anyway. The stock pipes can be cut and will mate to the headers with little work.
