Default Speedo back powered Vacuum connection

Had the dash apart and on the back of the speedometer is a two in and one out vaccum connection

There is a two pring power connection on it too...

Wnayone know what this is?
Does it deal with the wiper cowl? as mine was replaced and no longer goes up and down but these parts are still behind the dash

thanks

Sounds like your talking about the wiper motor solenoid, it actually has 2 vacuum lines. That 3rd port at the bottom is a filter.

This little thing, right?

superdad,

It sounds like the wiper door relay but normally it is mounted to the back of the tach. If you don't have the wiper door anymore you can safely remove it. I would suggest that you keep all of the parts you are removing since original parts have value to those who are restoring their cars.

Regards,

Jay
