You would be happy with the motor i built and ran on the street. In my 3500 lb camaro it ran 11.72 @ 115 in the 1/4 mile. It ran 9.92 @ 127 on Nitrous. I should of never sold that motor.
That is some great performance out of a street motor
If not ,how much power would I be losing if I went to an Edelbrock RPM, using the same set up?

I have air gap with proform 950 dp under L88 hood. Had to use stock dropdown filter base but with 2" element to get underneath - then bought one of Summits filter tops to get some airflow capacity back (had to drill-out the top as they are useless ) EDIT
My memory went 'open circuit' - I used an Edelbrock 'drop-base' which isn't as deep as the stock item - the reason was because I used a CSR billet throttle bracket which WILL NOT fit under stock drop-base filter - hence the need for 2" instead of 3" element.
