L88 Long Hood Setup
Has anyone done a conversion from a stock BB hood to an L88 Long Hood? I'm trying to figure out how to cover all the windshield wiper compartment and bottom of the windshield. Once the hood is on the car, even with the hood closed, it looks bad. I figure a metal worker could fabricate something that would start at the bottom of the windshield and run across and down to the wiper mounts to cover it up and then a piece that would connect left and right together to give it a finished look. I have to think that this has been done before and don't want to reinvent the wheel if I can avoid it. Living in Northern NJ and having someone in the metro area would be a great help. Any thoughts?
