Pheasant Run is in St. Charles, IL, a far western suburb. And I can't imagine any golf club board allowing their course to be used for parking. .......Unless the charge is $250 a slot

I e-mailed BG yesterday in support of moving the show back to Springfield. I got an e-mail back tonight advising that it looks like the show will still be in Bloomington for this year. Apparently they have received a lot of proposals for new sites, Springfield included, and they will try to settle on one proposal by June 1st. Then that propospal can be presented to this years show attendies for their input and thoughts.

So looks like the smart money will not be on Bloomington for 2003.

Hey, move it here to Atlanta! We could use a Vette show.

Hard to believe for a show as big as this one is they are not sure yet of where it's going to be!!!(June 1st). Can you imagine the chaos if they move it this year and the absolute dissappointment and cancellations for all those hotels in Bloomington/Normal area!!! :mad :seeya

At one time they were considering "Bloomington,Indiana" to keep the name "correct", but I guess that is too small a town to have it in. I think that is where John Cougar or John Cougar Mellancamp or John Mellancamp or is it just "John" by now is from.

Paul, the way I read the e-mail is that it is 99% sure at this time to be in Bloomington for 2002. But they will try to make a tentive decesion on the 2003 location by June 1st so they can get feedback from show attendies this year.

Yep, I got that email as well.....I hope they move it back to Springfield. It's a good show with a central location, and a lot of history.

I wonder if Bloomington Gold ever thought about having it down at Bowling Green,KY or if that would be too much??? Or they might not make "their" own revenues down there??? I'd like to see it myself go back to Springfield. Was the best time to me when it was there. :seeya

Count my vote for Springfield. I started going in 1993 and never felt that the Bloomington location was that great. What kind of cruize will they do in Pheasant Run--take a spin around a mall :U
