So I have seen some pictures of 69 vettes with what appear to be aluminum, chromed or stainless steel rocker panels instead of the black fiberglass ones that were stock.
Can anyone tell me what years these panels are from and where to get them? I think they look much better than the flat black panels.

The '70-75 panels are identical..but the bolt pattern is a bit different than the '68 or '69 rockers. You will need to drill some holes in different places and epoxy some stainless "T" nuts from behind so the new panels will mate up properly. Not a big deal. OR...you can clean up your fiberglass panels and shoot them with a good primer then with Dupli-Color "Chrome" spray paint. I'm amazed at the appearance of this 'chrome' paint. It doesn't reflect like chrome...but it is almost identical in color and sheen as the anodized rocker panels. You can't give it a protective clear coat, because that tends to dull the chrome look of the paint. But, it's another [less expensive] option for you.
