Can any PLEASE let me know if they know the length? I have scoured the web, but I don't know if google knows the answer to this one, lol. I ask, because a friend of a friend knows a guy in a shop who is willing to do some custom work for me, but first, I gots to know what I NEED>>>

Thanks, guys.

The stock knurl diameter is .468. The stock length is 1.75. Thread is 7/16-20. Any parts house that carries Dorman products will have a catalog of their studs. Hundreds of sizes, literally.

Ok, now for my last question....thanks for being patient with me, guys.

Lug nuts. Should I get open ended, or close ended? Pros, cons? It seems to me that open ended would be easier, as close ended could lead to length issues, right?

Another question...Ig I get the ARP studs, they are 3 inches long...which is too long for my application. In the rear wheels, I am using 3 inch adapters, but the holes that the lugs go into are deep, so the stud doesn't actually have to be that long for the nut to bite onto. BUT, I imagine I want SOME extra threads, for structural reasons, right? Less stress, and all that jazz...question, how much should I leave? As much as possible, and still be able to get the wheels on over the adapters? Or does it even matter?

Sorry if these seem like stupid questions, but this is all pretty new to me, and there is not a ton of info out there about this particular little field of joys. Thanks in advance.

Leave the studs long and use open lug nuts. It not only looks cool it works good too.

the only drawback is that you have to thread the nut over some extra threads.

Well I guess you are using adapters? Then you might have to cut them down so they don't interfere

Yes to what he said. I have done the same. You just have to drill out the "hat" for the rotor and wheels for 1/2 inch. Not a big deal even for the likes of me.
