Figured I would start and try to find the problem with my slow and sometimes non-raising headlights. Found that one of the relays will not hold vacuum for 10 seconds and the other relay was better but still would not hold vacuum.
Looked in various catalogs and the prices range from $60-$80 each. Almost fainted when I saw the prices. Noticed on the ones that I have, AC-Delco is stamped on them.
Is there a way to repair these valves or will I just have to bite the bullit and buy new ones.
Is there another source such as NAPA or AutoZone that these parts can be purchased that would not cost an arm and leg.
Thanks for the replies.
Thought that was the issue for mine as well, but mine turned out to be the actuators themselves. The relay only gives vacumn to one side or the other of the actuators. You may want to verify which componets are the issue. The actuators are about $100 each and the relays are $60 or so each. Real expensive little system we have.
I have trouble with low vacumn on my engine which compounds the problem.
