Default In stalling new Mono spring

Started the tear down today on the right side. It was easy enough. The hard part was the 30 yrs. of never being replaced. After trying the hammer. I went straight for my smoke wrench. I'm in the welding business. After seeing the upper control arms. I decided to get new ones. So now the job is on hold until Friday or Monday. All depends on UPS. This gives me time to rebuild the calipers. Might as well I'm in there and I got the time.

What kit did you decide on VBP? I just installed the rear performance plus kit and will be installing the front half in the next month. I Plan to get in there and beef up some of that area with a MIG and some gustets too. Mine has some pretty crappy factory welds.

I love UPS. I hate waiting on them though..

I bought it from Corvette Central. But It was delivered in a VBP box. It's pretty easy once you get the old dirty crap out. Make sure to have a torch to heat up the frozen rusty stuff. I checked out my frame, and it looks good. With me being a welder. I say If it ant broken. Don't fix it.. I've done everything except the rear spring. I should have done that when I did the rear end change. Money was tight. How hard was it??
