When I bought the Vette it had been setting for several years and the owner had all 4 calipers replaced with ss lined, new master cylinder, new proportion valve and dot5 fluid I have let it set for the last 2 years and the brakes are not the best I have power bleed them 3 times and found no air but I can not lock the wheels up when breaking. I have put a cam in that only give me 14 vac at the best. Could this be it when i let off the gas and hit the brakes the vac is dropping?
I think if you let off the throttle from 40 MPH and put on the brakes this would be the most vacuum you would see. Sitting at idle and then applying brakes would be the least vacuum you would see......at least thats how I see it
Is the pedal ever real hard stopped at a idle in gear? Thats for sure too low vac. A friend of mine with a BB chevelle added at canister to help that problem.. Maybe an option if that turns out to be the problem?

when you let off the gas you are creating the highest vacuum reading of your mill, especially with a manual tranny....
