1975 Interior indicators problem
I have a '75 with some odd electrical issues. See if anyone can diagnose the following:
I pulled all of the carpets about a year ago and replaced, and I wonder if I cross-wired something at that time or unplugged something by mistake. There are two sets of symptoms, one with the lights off and one with the lights on:
Lights off:
-Left turn indicator operates ok
-Right turn indicator does not
-Twist headlight **** to turn on courtesy lights
--Rr courtesy light comes on dim
--Tach light comes on
Parking Lights on
-"Bright" indicator lights up (brights are not switched on)
-Left turn indicator comes on solid
-Left turn indicator appears to operate correctly
--Bright indicator dims and brightens opposite of Left turn sig
-Rt turn indicator inop
-center gauges to include console light up
-No courtesy lights
-No tach or speedo lights
Lights on
-Bright indicator operates correctly
-Turn signals same as with Parking lights on
-No courtesy lights
-Tach, Speedo, and guages same as w/ parking lights on
Of note: the light for the Speedo was working a week ago, so that bulb may have blown. I have replaced a couple of the fuses since then, though, so that might have done something as well.
This is what it looks like around my fuse box. There are some splices and some plugs in the box are empty. None of my open plugs seem to fit the open plugs in the fusebox.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I am totally lost and welcome anything you can send.
Thanks.
Wilcox has instructions on pulling the left hand dash.
Doc Rebuild has one of the best color coded wiring diagrams that includes what every connector looks like.
Good Luck.
