Tapping noise?

Tapping noise?
Now that I changed from side to rear eshaust it is quiet enough that I am hearing a loud tapping noise coming from the engine. Could it be the solid lifters? How much noise is normal? Could it be somthing worse? Thanks for any advice

Anytime you alter the exhaust system and suddenly hear a new tapping noise, I would first suspect that it's an exhaust leak. Especially if you did anything to the exhaust manifold. I would check very closely every connection in your exhaust system. If you can't find a leak, then I would pull the valve covers and start listening under there.
