broken antenna on 76 ?
I have broken antenna with the cable and grounding plate hanging down by the muffler. How does the grounding plate & antenna attach to the underbody?

You install the antenna from the bottom, sandwiching the ground plane between the antenna and the body. Then you install the antenna trim piece with gasket from the top, followed by the nut. The trim piece must be angled properly with the body. Be sure the ground strap from the ground plane to the frame is connected.
