Here is my problem.. My power windows work when they feel like it, not when I want them to. I can start up the car, take off and they dont work. Try it five min later and they work fine. five more minutes later and they wont work at again. Car is never shut off during that time frame.
Not sure if I have a loose wire or if something is going out. Hoping one of you guys has a "Ohh yeah, same thing happened to me, here's the fix" suggestion so I dont have to start tracing out wires looking for any type of short, knick, etc.
I would start going into the console where the ground to the power window relay attaches to the chasis. More than likely there is a build up of corosion on it causing high resistance. Both windows share the same ground thru the relay. Worst case scenario it will be an intermittent relay. Both switches are seperate as is the motors are independant of each other. Like I said the only things common to both systems are the relay and power to the relay and the ground.
