Hydraboost High Pressure Line Question....
http://www.vbandp.com/detail.aspx?ID=1033

My problem is that at each end is a 90 degree fitting but they do not swivel nor do the lines themselves bend easily so when I run them and try to let them lay naturally, the fittingss do not line up to the hose connections on the pump, hydraboost, etc.
So my question is how do I adjust them so I can turn the 90 degree fittings in a direction that better aligns? Or is ok to twist (somewhat significantly) the hoses?
Thanks
Shane

The fitting swiveled allowing you to set-up the lines with an unkinked, natural routing you might say, before you tightened them down. You may need to loosen the fitting on the lines side to allow them to swivel.
Don't worry about the fittings, they with re-swage nicely.

Also, do you think I could disassemble and re-do the lines VB&P supplies?
I remembered that VB&P buys the kitds from Hydratech so I went to their site. The have a detailed instruction list for assembling the hoses here:
http://www.hydratechbraking.com/Hydratech/hosetech.html
As you scroll down they have some nice detailed pics, etc. But the one sentence that got me at the end is:
In Step 10 - "You may now back the hose end out of the hose up to one full turn to orient it in the direction desired. ??? Doesn't this have to be tight? NO! The initial torque down crushes the brass ferrule down a few thousandths, which seals the teflon liner very well against the male nipple of the hose end, which means that you will still seal the joint positively even if unscrewed up to three full turns (!). These lines seal so well that they can also be used with Nitrous without fear of leakage!"
So I guess that will solve my problem. I was considering doing this on my own but thought it would cause leakage but I guess not.
I am going to head out to the garage for the afternoon and try this out....

I installed mine today and made the adjustments with the hoses off the car, which took several attempts, but I got it. If any of you have or want to have a nicer looking return line, use AN fitting and a AN T fiting much better looking.
