Throttle linkage clip

Hi All,

I am looking for a locally available clip that holds the throttle cable on the throttle body linkage. The linkage on my BBK TB has a groove on the post and I need to find a clip to hold the cable from coming off.

I don't know what your clip looks like but O'Reilly Auto Parts has a box of clips in various sizes that go over the end of accelerator/choke and other rods with a teardrop shaped hole under the retaining clip. The groove in the rod slides into the hole. The entire clip is round.

Throttle Body Clip

That's the creature. Thanks for the reference. Will call tomorrow and order a few. I did find the original one later today but it would be good to have an extra or two.
