Battery Location?

Battery Location?
I know that my battery on my 75 is behind the driver's seat in a compartment below the convertible top storage area. Is this the same place for all C3's? How about other Vettes (C1, C2, C4, C5)?

As far as I know the battery has always been located behind the driver's seat. The Corvette was always known to be different with it's design (i.e. all fiberglass, battery location, fiber optics, body styling, etc...). :cheers:

C3's it's behind the driver's seat. C4's it's on the drivers side in the engine compartment near the wheel well. Don't know about the other generations.

C2 is in engine compartment behind one of the wheels in the fender, I believe on the driver side. Old friend had a '63 and that is what I recall, it what a bitch to get at.
