The Predator lives
I got the beast running today. After waiting for a fuel regulator to show up and figuring out how to actually hook the Predator up, it started right up. This is the race version without the idle circuit but it idled great. I think I need a bigger fuel pump because I couldn't seem to get the fuel pressure above 6. I'd post a pic but that is not working right now. I am thinking about using the Harwood Fiberglass Cowl Induction Hood Scoops from Jeg's. They have a 6" and a 4 1/4 version. If I wasn't such a Bubba, I wouldn't have cut the hole in the hood yet.

Good work. I was wondering where you were with the Predator. I ran the race ones without the idle circuit, as well, and had no problem either, but they were on a blower. As I remember, can't they handle a little more fuel pressure than a Holley @ 7 PSI? We need to see a picture after you get the cowl hood on.
