Default o2 Sensor Guru Needed

I'm looking for some feedback on o2 sensors for EFI.

I'm installing a ProFlo2 kit on my car. The o2 sensor is a 3 wire sensor provided with the kit. I've got some clearance issues with the sidepipes, the sensor, and the bottom of the frame.

I'm hoping to find a shorter sensor than the one that came with the kit.

My question is "are all 3 wire o2 sensors (with the same threads to screw into the bung) created electronically equal?" What I mean is if I find a shorter 3 wire sensor will it send the same signal to the computer as any other 3 wire sensor?

Thanks.

YES, unless it's the one intended for after a cat *** trophic converter....those MAY be different, I dunno....

but the two white wires go to the heat element, the black is the output, with the bolt being the typical ground....

And the black will send the same voltage back to the computer regardless of o2 Sensor manufacturer/application?
