wow...that sounds expensive...I'm getting true duals myself for my 78 soon, and i can get the pipes and labour for $250 Cdn. (about $150 US)...then again, we don't need cats up here for cars made before 1981.
Is the $300 you're talking about just for labour?

Are you going to change the crossmember to the one with the two holes. or are you going to run the pipe under the crossmember? I too have a 77 and I am considering going to true dual, but without the cat.

I have the 2 hole crossmember. But, i got hold of my exaust man and he said to do the 1 cat as it was do to the laws getting more strict here. He will put it back like it was for $200. headers into 1 cat then out to 2 mufflers. Got to do what the feds will let you. :confused:
