Ok i was wondering if any one had a schematic for a big block bracket set up on a c3.. i have a ton of big block brackets in my garage off of camaros chevelles 70's pick up trucks, suburbans, and i wanted to se how they go to gether on my 75vette. little stroked 496 upgrade on a 165hp smog 350.

And what kind of factory big block brackets do u guys use on Hydraboost.. i bought a couple bbc hydroboost brackets and pump on ebay i could never get them to work..

I don't think you will be able to use those brackets. All brackets and pulleys for big blocks and small blocks are C3 only brackets. In another words, you cant use brackets from chevelles or camaros without running into major clearance issues. I think some of the key issues are the crank pulley clearing the front crossmember and the location of the accessories clearing the A-Arms and so on. There is a kit by March that makes a Serpentine Set-Up for a C3 BB which would be the way to go. I wish I had the Part#, but I do know it was a little over $500 which is cheap. I've spent about $700-$800 in collecting the original brackets and pulley set up, and that is buying it half the cost of reproduction! So, hopefully someone will chime in with that Part # and you can spend less and get some "bling" while you are at it.

that is correct must have the corvette brackets, other BB will not work !
Time to open up the checkbook ! and they ain't cheap !
I suggest buying everything from 1 place to ensure you have everything you need.
I bought my brackets from Davies Corvette parts.
good Luck...69VETT

corvette central will show how all of the brackets and belts fit . whenever you look at one of the parts it gives you a pic of how it fits with the rest of them

I cant say for sure they will work, but if any of the brackets that you have are for an early big block Chevelle
or Camaro (up to 68, I believe), they will at least be compatible with a short water pump.
If I were you, and I already owned them, I would at least check them to see if you could make them work.
Otherwise see all the answers above mine.

Driveshaft is correct,
My 69 does not have PS, I used alt. bracket, pulleys and water pump from a 68 Chevelle, works fine.
It may take a while to sort through your stuff, but why buy more if you already have something that will work?

If Driveshaft is correct, please make sure to inform us as this would save the next person doing a BB swap a great deal of $$$$
