Default engine question

Ok here goes :

I have a new engine that was completly assembled an ran on the chassis, (not on the street) to break it in and it ran great.

Lately however I have been thinking about deshrouding my intake valves some more. I have Dart Alu pro 1's with 215 runners and since I use a 400 block I could take some more off the walls.
Also I did not have this blocked decked, which means that it is at standard deck height.

The engine has a CR of 10/1 and i'm going to use an agressive 250 something cam (at .05)

Would it be worth it to take the engine apart, deshroud the valves som more and have the engine decked (to restore or up the CR a bit) ?

Thanks

yves

if you are determined on running that much duration at .o5o off, you will need at least 12-1 compression to make it work..jmho

A little remark to this which is important regarding the above : it has a full duration of 284.
