Ok, so the photo above is taken from the floorboard on the driver's side. I know the wiring looks like crap - in fact the headlights have been spliced in there somewhere, bypassing the headlight switch. But that's not important right now.
In the top right I have a pull switch that overrides the vacuum to the headlights. I don't exactly know why it's there, but I know what it does and that it works. In the top center of the photo, however, I have another switch, or something. This switch has a cable leaving the rear of it that appears to plug into the back of the speedometer, next to the speedometer cable. I have NO idea what this thing is. Or where it's supposed to be mounted correctly, for that matter. Who knows the answer to this one?

The pull down switch (the one with the vacuum hoses) will pop up the headlights without turning on the headlights.
Push and turn the other **** to reset your trip meter. PG.
It screws the the lower dash right below the ball vent right about where its hanging. If you look under there or feel there will be 2 stand-offs that it screws to.
