what is the desination?
im gonna fell dumb asking this question but, what makes a vette a l-81, or a l-82 etc. and do you think my 81 vette is one? thanks for the info, Randall Graves

I think all 81's are L-81, I think it was the only engine offered in that year, I think that California models might have been restricted to a 305 ci automatic. The L-82 was a higher performance engine offered in some post 72 year models through to 1980. Don't hold me exactly to these year models, I don't have my blackbook handy.
