Small Block pulley setup - 1969
hey guys,
What type of non-serp pulley setup are you sb guys using?
My only accessories are p/s and alternator - also running elec fan
Option 1
3 grove crank pulley
2 grove w/p pulley
this will allow a short dedicated crank to w/p belt
Option 2
2 grove crank pulley
2 grove w/p pulley
this will require the alt belt to also drive the w/p - is this ok when running an elec fan?

Hi Ed,
The original set up is your #2 option.
The inner belt is alternator, water pump and crank, and the outer belt is power steering pump, water pump, and crank..
I believe the crank to water pump belt was only used for cars without power steering.
