I have a Lot of questions on this subject maybe some of you C3 owners can answer? What is the real story on Zora C3? Was it turned into a turbo by a custom company? How long was the Zora Corvette built and how many made? Were is Zora C3 now.

Aftermarket conversion done by ACI. One year only, 1980, only 80-ish built. Zora allowed his name to be used in return for 'commercial consideration'.

We were manufacturing widebody conversion packages back in the 70's and this was one of the designs that we were producing to make convertibles from the coupes in the early 80's. Zora gave his approval of our design and we named it after him. We were originally going to produce 200 cars, with the first going to Zora Duntov himself. Only 28 or so were ever built. I still see a few here and there. Number 001 sat in our showroom for quite some time, and was eventually sold by the original owner of our company.
