covan dash
i have bought a covan dash for my 71 camaro. i had all the ultra lite gauges already but bought a sport comp wiring harness hoping to use some of it in my installation. has anyone out there installed something similar in the vet or camaro and can give me a few tips and tricks on putting it in.

Here's my experience with Covan...
A friend of mine had one of his dashes put in his '69 Z28,gauges and all.Looks great, he's happy. I talked to Allen at Covan, none of these are made for C3's yet. I sent him my dash,console,etc.He said he would make a proto-type and give me one free.He kept it almost 14 months,kept saying tooling,etc. and bad economy were keeping him from being able to get things done.Maybe so.My ride has been in resto.I got my stuff back a couple of months ago after having to almost get nasty.A couple of parts are busted.I wonder if we will see the new dash soon?And will I get one free like he said?
BTW,it goes in just like your OEM dash panel,hook up the gauges. Should have directions, if not, call them.
