Default Wiring by Bubba

I have a baby rat's nest for wiring on the driver's side of the windshield wiper motor. As you can see there's a stray connector that has the same end as what goes into the internal voltage regulator but I am certain that's not what it's for. However, that's about all I'm certain of.

Anyone know what these relays are used for? I have a '71 and my guess is it has something to do with the emissions that plug into the carb. Don't have the stock carb any more, so I'd love to completely remove all of this; wiring and relays. Oh shoot, I guess that would make me a Bubba too...

Thanks!
