Installing new lifters question?

We prime all our engines before they go on the dyno or out the door and in 37 years of building engines we have never soaked a set of lifters yet.
Hopefully your cam core is the P-55 cam core as its considered a performance cam core harder then the standard ones, And hydraulic lifters we buy them by the tray from GM as they have a steel bottom which is harder then any other hyd. lifter out there.
