Default Cleaning/Detailing Question

Sometimes after I wax the Vette in the morning and by afternoon if If want to drive her, there will be a fine coat of dust on it--or during the winter I take the cover off and there will be a find coating of dust on the car--Well I take the air hose and blow it off--I got to wondering, am I driving particles into or across the paint when I do that?

If you have a good coat of wax, Zaino or whatever on it, it shouldn't hurt the paint by blowing compressed air across it. Do it on like a 10-20 degree angle from the car so you aren't forcing it into the paint.
