A friend has a TBI 350 from a 1986 Chevy Blazer that I can have to put in my car till I can afford to get my motor fixed.
My question is will the intake from my L82 fit the other motor? Has anyone done this before.........will the swap work?
Thanks

i dont think your intake will work but i could be wrong.....do some research on the cylinder head intake gaskets....i think they are different....thats when you had tuned port and also tbi and i believe the bolt patterns were changed from earlier engines.....good luck
Are you sure its an '86? From my memory, '87 was the first year for TBI on Chevy trucks.
It also seems like they used an adapter to mount the TBI unit onto a carbed intake.
This is all from memory though, and its been many years since I have looked an an engine from that time.
As Driveshaft stated,87 was the first year for throttle body injection. If you have an 86 engine you should be good with bolting up to your excisting manifold. The TBI bolt pattern is different only by the angle of the bolts, carb manifold still has an angle to the heads pattern and TBI is almost flat manifold to the heads. As for the 87 you could always use your heads if needed.
