OK, that new cover looks very cool. I was liking the look of the 9" way better until I saw that cover...

I like that cover! Looks like it helps support everything good. Hey, no fair, you have a fuel cell.

Yeah, I was looking at that fuel cell as well. Custom or purchased somewhere? I need to do something with my tank while it is out and I'm doing the rearend install.

What motor and trany is in this car?

The original tank was rotted so I switched over to a fuel cell. It has the sender in it already.

The cell I won from ebay. I only paid $142 shipped. It was brand new 10 gallon from RCI. Motor is a 383 and tranny is a Doug Nash drag race 5 speed.

How well does the fuel cell match up to the fuel lid in the deck? How do you think it would work in a '76?

It doesnt match up well with the lid. The filler opening is actually under the rear deck up towards the rear window. It might work better with 76 because you dont have the large back window.

Here are some updates. This is how it sits. Cut One coil of the front springs. It now has a 29x10 hoosier slick instead of the quick time pro. It is a huge tire! It will not fit if you dont modify the chassis at the hole where the trailing arm used to go. I have a 3/16 spacer on it also with the 8.5 rim with the 4 7/8 back space. A 10" rim will make it stick to far out of the quarters unless you get maybe a 5.5 back space.

Fat Hoosiers on autodrag Centerlines, what a great look! Nice setup. Kinda fond of 12-bolts.

Nice man! I just got my 10.5 X 28 MT slicks last week. I did some chassis mods too, so I think they should fit.

They should fit nice. Post some pictures when you get them mounted.
