Suggest anyone planning or building should learn how to calculate scr for themselves ... learn it then practice it. http://www.21cgt.com/FMWebCatalog/frmConversion4.aspx
One does have to learn what to plug in & how to manipulate that for some other factors/variables which also must be learned.
Stock L48 has lower scr than most folks think it has.
I see barely 9:1 with 0.028" ... but ...
if using iron heads suggest felpro 1094 shim 0.015" gaskets ... then less than 9.4:1.
Runningman, you're using aluminum heads as well, which would allow you a little more compression ratio on pump gas. You won't need to be concerned, though...your combo won't make more than 9.5:1 to one withe either gasket.
