Default Help! Drivers side taillight dim.

For 75 coupe.

All other lights around the car working well with good brightness.

Left rear taillight is on but noticeably dimmer than all others. Replaced bulb with two different new bulbs and got same result. One hint is that the left turn signal wont flash (front and back) but indicator in car comes on but again isn't flashing. I even changed front left bulbs. Flasher, socket, ground, other wiring? Not sure where to start.

Are there simple tests to start with to troubleshoot?

Please advise

Ground

edit-Take a small piece of wire and ground one end , take the other end and stick it in along side the bulb touching it to the copper casing of the bulb and ground it. If that works then fix the ground.

I have a similar problem, where are all the grounds located? Not trying to hijack the thread, I don't know where to look.

You have a common ground point for the rear lights. If experiencing trouble with only one light, first check that socket; and then its associated wiring back to the ground connection.

Ground tab within socket was cracked and just barely making contact. You guys were right again. Thanks.
