Default Engine Temp and Oil Pressure

Just wondering what your standard engine temp and oil pressure is for when you cars are idling and when your driving them. My 79 is getting to hot. Today even though I had a set of aftermarket fans running on the radiator it got up to 250-260 and the oil pressure was in between 30-40 when it was idling but 80+ when I was driving it.
Thanks
Todd

idle and driving should stay between 175-195
oil pressure varies from min 20 at idle to 70 with rpm

your temp gauge is either shagged or you have cooling issues which there is endless reading on this forum.
