Try bleeding the brakes and see if that helps. If you get air out of the calipers in the back it could be a run out problem. If your pedal goes back to normal be careful of the next few rides because if it is a run out problem the brakes will fail again after so many miles. PG.
Is your pedal pressure real hard? You may of blown out the diaphram on your power brake booster. There is also a filter in the line that goes between the booster and the connection on your manifold that will fail. If thats alright I would check the proportioning valve mounted down on your frame.
