74 Speaker Help ??
A friend of mine has a 74 and is replacing the stock dash speakers. He wants to get a good quality
speaker that will fit in the stock mounting holes. Does anyone know which speakers will fit ?

I have Infinity 4X6's in the dash, and 6.5" Pioneers in the kickpanels..... As long as the tweeter doesn't stick up too high, they should bolt up fine (dash speakers)

I have Kenwood Excelon 4x6's in the dash, i had to mount the about an 1/8 inch lower than the factory, bit still used all the factory parts and locations with no modificatons.

I have a 73 and believe the dash is the same. Used the Infinity speakers and they were a direct fit. Sorry, I do not remember the #, but purchased them at Circuit City.
