Default low power, engine miss

I ran a vacuum test. engine had 17 in. vacuum with a 1 in. swing every 30 seconds or so. Had 50 to 35 lbs. cranking compression on all cylinders. I put a couple shots of oil in one cylinder and it made no difference. I am thinking valves not seating?? Input please!

How does that even run with all the cylinders that low? Is the throttle open when you take the readings?

Here is a good link to help understand what your vacuum gauge is telling you.

You need to rig up something to allow you to pump shop air into a cylinder through the plug hole. Next listen at the carb, then the exhaust, and then at the oil fill hole in the valvecover. When you find the noisy area thats whereyou look.

Carb= intake valve or adjustment
Exhaust= Exhaust valve or adjustment
Valvecover= Rings or pistons

Hope this helps
