Gear shift ****

Has anyone seen a shift **** that works like the ones on Firebirds, "T" handle?

No..... I had one of those shifters on my old 86 Firebird. I liked it.... and that Pontiac was a damn good car...... RIP Pontiac

I don't know what a Firebird T-handle, but I have a Hurst T-handle ****. I ordered it with my Hurst Super T-10 shift kit.

I believe it was the automatics that had the T handle in the Firebird. I had one in a 1968 Firebird.

Shift ****

I took a Firebird shift ****, drilled it out and tapped it to screw on the Vette shift lever. They both work by a button being depressed but the shift **** judt didn't work. ? ? ? ?

The older first gen T-shaped shifter had a fixed top and the underside was lifted by squeezing the handle. I guess te 4th gen shifter handles could be described as a fat T...those have the button on the side that you press with your thumb. Which one are you trying to use?

If your looking for a different shifter **** to replace the round ball with the button, good luck!

Let me know if you do find something because I havent been able too..
