Default Remote PCV valve??

Ok, so here is the deal.

I am thinking of putting a PCV on my car. I have a breather in the intake, the old style. Solid valve covers.

Now, i think that PCVs/ breathers look bad, so here is my idea. Weld in two aluminum hose barbs to the valve covers, run polished stainless lines off of them to under the air cleaner, to a T and into one PCV and then to the vacuum line from there.

Now, do i need to do this to both sides, just one? will it work? am i crazy?

thanks,

Steve

Sounds like it would work, 1 valve cover with remote PCV and the other with a remote vent.

Put PCV valve on the driver's side valve cover [if you can]. Sounds like a plan.

Yes. The other side doesn't need any vent. One PCV valve handles the entire engine.

This is how I did it. The oil fill tube is 1966 Vette with vent tube. Sealed oil cap. Fitting at carb base is a 63 Vette fitting with 1/8 or smaller hole. This ventilates crankcase vapors without sucking oil mist out of valve cover or causing a huge vacuum leak. Mine is also vented at both valve covers also but it wouldn't be necessary.\
