Default DeWitts Adds Bling!

We now offer the option to high polish any aluminum radiator and/or combination. We also offer custom chrome fans that exceed the finish of anything else on the market!

You will find the adder for polishing and chrome fans at the top of each product page.

Nice option ! I like it too. It should also be easier to remove dust when necessary, especially on the fan blades

Well lets add it up and see....

Radiator & Fan combo $920
Polish radiator adder $125
Chrome dual adder $456

Total =$1481

That is a total package, with the fans mounted and complete wiring, relays, fuses, and switch.

To get a few of these out there, I will offer a 4th of July weekend special!

10% off list and free shipping. Must order online using "4thGP" in name line.

1481 - 148 = $1333 net to the door

Do the Chrome fans reflect the heat away, keeping the car cooler?

Heat transfer between radiator and nearby elements is essentially a convective heat transfer with only very little radiative heat transfer ( it's the opposite of headers ).
Consequently, the color or the finish has only little or no influence on the temperature of these elements.
Maybe the vendor will confirm...

So if i had my engine compartment fully chromed, would the heat just bounce around it in a ever growing big red ball, and everything stay cool? maybe that's what the chrome fans are for, they chop the big red heat ball up, so it can fall out the bottom of the engine compartment in pieces......

Right ! This is the principle of Thermos bottles : highly polished metal, glass and vacuum between the walls.
