egr ? oval port ?
I'm doing a total rebuild on a 454 and I'm looking at how to go about it.
Should I go with a good egr setup ?
as for the oval port.. doesn't that have everything do with the heads ?
If you change the heads won't it matter what port they are depending on what heads you use ?

edit: I'm also thinking about the edlebrock total performer package, as I don't know all that much about specs.. What's all of your opinion on this setup? I figure If I go that route I'll need a different cam, Don't know which one...
Also I'm thinking about running 119 cc heads with similar specs as the 110 cc heads edlebrock recommends, Is this a acceptable or should I stick with theyre heads ?

HEI is High Energy Ignition, which will work.
Oval ports are very good street heads.

But I'll upgrade them as they break :)
Also , If I'm rebuilding the entire engine, I should delete the HEI right ?
That is possible isn't it ?
